Archived: 2014 Social Responsibility Conference Next Week On SCSU Campus
Next week at St. Cloud State University, a former FBI 9/11 whistle blower and an investigative journalist currently working for truthout.org will be the two featured speakers of the 2014 Social Responsibility Conference.
The sixth annual student-run event includes films, discussions and speakers on topics and issues not covered by mainstream media and culture.
On Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in the Atwood Theatre former 9/11 whistle blower Coleen Rowley will give a presentation titled Massive Spying and Governmental Secrecy Are Unethical, Illegal and Counter-Productive.
Truthout.org staff reporter Dahr Jamail will speak on Climate Change Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in the Atwood Theatre.
The 2014 Social Responsibility Conference starts Monday, running through Wednesday night.
