Broadside And Rollover Crash Near St. Martin Sends Several To Area Hospitals
10/25/2017 - 1:50 AM

A car crash Tuesday night led to one man being air-lifted for his injuries.
Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmundson says just after 6 p.m. 38-year-old Hilary Hesse of Eden Valley was driving west on County Road 12 with her passengers 14-year-old Katelyn Holthaus of Eden Valley and 15-year-old Destiny Deheer of Watkins.
Hesse went past the intersection of County Road 12 and County Road 11 when authorities say 41-year-old Shawn Frieler of Melrose was heading south when he failed to stop at a stop sign and broadsided Hesse's vehicle.
Hesse and her passengers rolled into the ditch as a result. Frieler was taken by helicopter to St. Cloud Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Holthaus and Deheer were taken to Paynesville Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
