A nurse and two security officers were assaulted in the St. Cloud Hospital.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers were called to the hospital at about 3 p.m. Tuesday after a report of an assault.

Police say 24-year-old Joseph Charles Karnick had caused a disturbance in the hospital. Police had taken him into custody.

Karnick is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail. He is facing three counts of felony assault because of his criminal record.
