A Semi-Tractor Trailer Rolls Into Traffic On County Road 75 Tuesday

A man was injured Tuesday afternoon after he attempted to stop a semi rolling into traffic.

According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, a semi –tractor trailer parked  in the Tiremaxx Service Center parking lot, lost control while the driver, 70-year-old William Pike of Stanchfield, was inside the business.

As the semi started to roll towards County Road 75, Pike tried to stop the trailer’s movement. The semi landed into the north ditch.

Pike was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance.

The incident remains under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s office.
