St. Cloud State has hired a new assistant provost for undergraduate recruitment and transition programs.

Amber Schultz has accepted the position after having 15 years of experience in higher education admissions and enrollment management. She most recently was the associate vice president for enrollment management and student success at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania, and has also served numerous years in Admissions at the University of Minnesota Crookston and Winona State University.

Schultz received her doctoral degree in High Education administration from the University of Minnesota.

She will begin her position starting January 6.
