A woman is dead after her vehicle collided into another on County Road 136 late Saturday afternoon.
St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Alice Jane Meuissen of Annandale was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed on 40th street. Meuissen failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection and collided into another vehicle driven by 27-year-old Nathan Raisanen of Dassel, who was northbound on County Road 136. Both vehicles were forced off the road.
Nathan and the passenger, 27-year-old Janna Renee Raisanen also of Dassel, had to be removed from the vehicle. They were taken to the St. Cloud hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Meuissen was ejected from her vehicle and life-saving efforts were performed at the scene. She was later taken to the St. Cloud Hospital emergency room where she died late Saturday night from the injuries in the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol is helping in the investigation.
