Arrest Made After Driver Flees

Early Thursday morning, Waite Park Police arrested a motorist who led them on a short chase. 19 year old Alexander James Horn of St. Cloud was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle and underage drinking and driving.
According to police, Horn was traveling at 45 mph on 7th Street South, where the speed limit is 30 mph. When police attempted to stop him, he fled. Horn continued driving into a residential area where he ran a stop sign and then attempted to turn around in a driveway, where the officer was able to stop him. Once stopped, field sobriety tests were issued, and Horn was taken to and booked at Stearns County Jail.
