Bail Set At $3 Million For Marcus Barshaw

Bail has been set at $3 million dollars for Marcus Michael Barshaw for the shooting death of Jeffery Shutz.
28-year-old Barshaw made his first appearance in Stearns County District Court on Thursday and was previously charged with murder in the second degree on October, 25th. According to police, Barshaw had shot 30-year-old Jeffery Shutz multiple times early in the morning. Police found Barshaw hiding in an apartment building and was shot by a Stearns County Deputy after he came out of the building holding a semi-automatic assault style rifle and refused to comply with officer’s orders.
Barshaw was hospitalized for his injuries until his appearance in court on Thursday.
Barshaw’s next court appearance is set for Thursday, November 15th.
