On Sunday afternoon, the St. Cloud Police Department were called to the 400 block of 15th Avenue Southeast for an animal complaint.

According to the police report, an adult black bear and two younger black bears had climbed a tree in the neighborhood. The Minnesota DNR recommended leaving the bears alone with the expectation they would leave at nightfall. Officers remained on the scene for several hours to ensure that people in the area did not disturb the bears.

As of Monday morning, the bears had come down from the trees and left the area without incident. The St. Cloud Police Department received no further calls regarding these bears.
