Burglary And Break-In On Fifth Avenue

On Wednesday, St. Cloud police were called to the 300 block of 5th Avenue South for an attempted burglary.
According to the police report, two black men had attempted to break in the home of the 24-year-old victim through the kitchen door. When the suspects were confronted by the victim, they fled westbound towards Lake George. The victim was not harmed.
Also on Wednesday, St. Cloud police were called to a residence in the 300 block of 5th Avenue Northeast for a burglary.
Police say that the house was broken into between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with numerous items being taken. The camper trailer in the yard of the residence was also broken into.
Anyone with information on the robberies is encouraged to call the police department at 251-1200.
