09/02/2009 - 12:30 PM
On August 25th, 2009, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old James Irving Dale and 35-year-old Brent Paul Martin, both of Annandale. They were taken into custody on charges of burglarizing a Fort Ripley golf course.
On August 26th detectives investigating two similar burglaries in Benton County drafted a search warrant to search Dale and Martin’s residence. During the search eight items of stolen property and several other items of evidence were recovered. This evidence linked Martin and Dale with similar burglaries in five jurisdictions, and both Todd and Meeker counties have placed probable cause holds on Dale and Martin.
James Dale remains in custody on his pending charges. Brent Martin has posted bail and is awaiting future court appearances.
