Last weekend, Camp Ripley was host to training exercises for members of the National Guard and the Norwegian Home Guard.

The Minnesota National Guard took part in joint, inter-agency exercises with soldiers of the Ready Action Force from the Norwegian Home Guard. It was part of the 2017 U.S.-Norway Reciprocal Troop Exchange.

The event was designed to reinforce positive working relationships between allied services.

At Camp Ripley, the training showed Norwegian Soldiers the capabilities of cooperation between civilian agencies and the National Guard.
