Car Accident Sends Two To Hospital

A Wednesday afternoon car accident in St. Cloud resulted in one man and a child being taken to the St. Cloud Hospital. The accident happened about 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of West St. Germain and 14th Avenue South.
A vehicle driven by a 37-year-old Sartell woman was traveling eastbound on West St. Germain collided with a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Roland Peters Gonletuo of Brooklyn Center at the intersection. He and his juvenile passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The police say witness statements and evidence at the scene show Gonletuo did not yield right of way. He also did not have proof of insurance.
