Crash Sends Three To The Hospital

A vehicle crash on Sunday evening sent three people to the hospital, one of them with severe injuries. The crash happened at the intersection of Division Street and 33rd Avenue around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Police say 19-year-old Lauren Taylor Stein of St. Cloud was driving southbound on 33rd Avenue and tried to make a left turn onto Division Street when she collided with a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Michelle Rae Karol of St. Marin.
Karol and her 69-year-old passenger were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. A 19-year-old passenger in Stein’s vehicle received severe injuries to her right leg and was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital.
Stein received a citation for failure to yield right of way.
