Driver Leads Police on Weekend Chase

Saint Cloud police made an arrest after a hit-and-run suspect led them on a chase. It started an accident at East St. Germain and Wilson Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The driver, Ryan Lund, fled, but police were able to catch up with him near the airport at Deltone Road. That’s when they say he fled again, leading both Saint Cloud police and the Minnesota State Patrol on a chase. Police say Lund eventually crashed his car into a construction vehicle. He was taken to the Saint Cloud hospital in critical condition. The Minnesota State Patrol is conducting the accident investigation.
