Driver Rolls Car Trying to Avoid Crash on Highway 23

Two people have been hospitalized after their vehicle rolled on the highway near New London.
Minnesota State Patrol Sergeant Jesse Grabow says 18-year-old Mohamed Ahmed was driving in an SUV east on Highway 23 near the intersection with Highway 9 Wednesday just before 1:30 p.m. He tried to merge into the left lane Ahmed veered away to avoid a collision, he overreacted and rolled.
Ahmed was taken to Rice Hospital and his passenger, 22-year-old Johnathon Claeys, went to CentraCare Hospital. Both of them had non-life threatening injuries.
