Feeding Minnesota Seeks New Members

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is looking for candidates to participate in a task force to create a surplus agricultural donation program. The nine member task force will advise the MDA on the consumption of Minnesota grown produce and how best to facilitate the donation of harvested products to feed hungry Minnesotans.
The MDA seeks applicants who represent various organizations including food banks, food producers and growers, the Minnesota Farmers Market Association, Minnesota higher education institutions, the food transportation industry, statewide agricultural organizations, and food processors.
The task force applications are available online on the Minnesota Secretary of State website. The application deadline is July 28th.
