The first of many future SkyWest Airlines aircrafts landed at the St. Cloud Regional Airport Wednesday afternoon to kick off the United Express Flights to Chicago.

SkyWest Airlines says each of the daily flights to Chicago are timed to maximize the number of connections available to destinations across United’s global network. The aircraft used will be a 50-passenger, Bombardier-manufactured CRJ200.

The flights from St. Cloud to Chicago were announced in February.
