Five St. Cloud schools have been recognized by the Minnesota Department of Education for their behavioral prevention efforts.

Madison Elementary, North Junior High, Discovery Community School, Westwood Elementary and Oak Hill Community School are among 30 schools across the state that have received the sustaining exemplar school award.

The award is given to schools that are leaders in promoting positive behavior, improving the school learning environment and working toward student achievement.
