Governor Dayton Appoints St. Cloud State University Alum to District Court Judge

St. Cloud State University alumnus Matthew Quinn and Shan C. Wang have been appointed to District Court Judges in the Seventh Judicial District in Minnesota.

The Governor's office released that Quinn and Wang will be chambered at Milaca and St. Cloud respectively. Quinn is replacing Vicki Landwehr who is retired.

Governor Dayton says that the addition of the new district judges will " bring diverse, professional, and volunteer, experience to this important role."

Wang is filling a newly created district court judgeship created by the Minnesota Supreme Court for the Seventh District.

Minnesota's Seventh Judicial District consists of Becker, Benton, Clay, Douglas, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Otter Tail, Stearns, Todd and Wadena counties.
