Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation Names New President

The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation has named local leader Patti Gartland as the new President of the corporation.
Gartland is a lifelong resident of the St. Cloud community and has more than 30 years of community and economic development experience, private sector business experience and experience in higher education.
Gartland's new role will include serving as the chief executive officer for the city, manage a $6 million annual general fund budget and a $18.4 million in total governmental funds, serving as the city's chief public relations officer, directing all municipal operations, and providing leadership for six direct reports, 36 additional full-time employees and a 30 member volunteer/pay-per-response fire department.
The GSDC is a non-profit collaboration of about 97 regional public and private organizations in Central Minnesota.
