Archived: Habitat for Humanity to dedicate homes Wednesday

Two area families will become new homeowners Wednesday. The Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity will dedicate two homes on 45th Avenue Northeast to the Buluf and Ibrahim families. The townhomes are part of a 4-plex in the neighborhood. The first two were dedicated this summer. The ceremony is happening from 12:00 to 1:00 pm and the public is invited to attend.

The Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity started in 1989. The group has built 46 homes so far. Families are selected for the program based on their ability to pay back a 20-year 0% mortgage and work at least 200 hours on their home. More information about the group is available online at www.centralminnesotahabitat.org or by calling 320-656-8890.
