Historic Aircraft Visits St. Cloud

This weekend, central Minnesotans can get an up close glimpse or even take a ride on the “single most historic piece of aircraft in the nation.” That’s according to B-17 Flying Fortress pilot Dan Boland. The remarkable World War II bomber will be at the Saint Cloud Regional Airport Friday through Sunday. Each day, flight tours are offered from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and ground tours are from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The cost for a flight tour is $385 for EAA members and $425 for non members. Ground tours are $5 per person or $15 per family. Children under 8 and all active military or veterans receive free ground tours. KVSC took an exclusive flight on Thursday afternoon. Stay tuned for continued coverage of this incredible aviation experience.
