A St. Cloud man is in custody after police were called for an assault complaint early Wednesday morning. Police went to the 200 block of 3rd Avenue Northeast just after 4 a.m. for the report.

While police were checking for outstanding warrants of the alleged suspect, 41-year-old Joshua Lee Littlewolf, it was discovered that Littlewolf is wanted in Duluth as a suspect in a homicide case. Littlewolf was placed under arrest and taken to the Benton County Jail where he is facing charges of 5th degree assault. An investigation is ongoing in both cases.
