Archived: Hospital Tells Visitors to Stay Home

With cold and flu season upon us, St. Cloud Hospital is discouraging those who are experiencing flu-like symptoms from visiting a hospitalized patient. According to Infection Control Specialist, Sally Petrowski, visitors have good intentions, but can unknowingly spread germs to their loved ones who are medically vulnerable. If you are experiencing any symptoms of the flu, such as fever, a sore throat or cough, instead of visiting a loved one in the hospital, it is recommended you contact a patient by phone or by sending an e-greeting at www.centracare.com
