Immigrants in Minnesota Brown Bag Lecture Series Starts Monday

SCSU’s Political Science Professor Shoua Yang will kick off the Immigrants in Minnesota brownbag lecture series happening this fall. Yang’s lecture will focus on the evolution of the Hmong self-help organizations.
The Hmong have a few different types of self-help organizations, classified accordingly to their specific purpose, to assist the Hmong in adapting life in American culture.
The event will take place on Monday, October 8th at 12 p.m. in the GLacier North room of Atwood. The event is free and open to the public, and attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch.
The Immigrants in Minnesota Brown Bag lecture series is supposed by the School of Public Affairs and the College of Liberal Arts.
