Police Asking For Information About Garbage Dumpster Fires

The St. Cloud Police Department in joint with the St. Cloud Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal’s are seeking help in identifying the suspects that sparked multiple complaints of garbage dumpsters that were caught on fire.

According to the St. Cloud Police Report, there have been a significant amount of garbage dumpster fires over recent months including this past Monday morning between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. These fires have consistently occurred on the south side of St. Cloud between Highway 23 and University Drive South, and between 5th Ave South and 9th Ave South. 

Anyone with information relating to these crimes are asked to contact St. Cloud Police Department at 251-1200.

The Minnesota Arson Awareness Program is offering rewards of up to $2,500 for information leading up to the identification of the persons responsible to these fires. You may choose to remain anonymous by calling the Arson Hot Line at 1-800-723-2020.
