Archived: Lake Wobegon Trail Association To Host Nature Ride Near Avon

The Lake Wobegon Trail Association is inviting the public to see Minnesota’s state flower and enjoy a bike ride along the way.

The Lake Wobegon Trail Association is hosting a Lady Slipper Nature Ride as part of Avon’s Spunktacular Days.

Starting at the Trailhead Park in Avon, riders will be able to bike between six and 20 miles, seeing sights like the lady slipper flowers, the St. John’s Outdoor University and the Abbey Arboretum.

In addition, Minnesota Master Naturalists will be available to answer questions on the wildlife found along the Lake Wobegon Trail.

The Lady Slipper Nature Ride will take place on Saturday, June 21 at 8 a.m.
