Archived: Level 3 Sex Offender Arrested In St. Cloud

A Level Three Sex Offender was arrested in St. Cloud Wednesday afternoon after violating terms of his release by living at an address where he was not registered. The St. Cloud Police arrested 31-year-old Jarome Lamont Webb after a traffic stop at the intersection of 7th Avenue South and 11th Street South.

The arrest was a part of a coordinated investigation between the St. Cloud Police, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Webb is being held for court in Stearns County Jail and will be prosecuted by the Sherburne County Attorney’s Office.

Webb reportedly moved to the 1100 block of 10th Street Southeast on June 11 of this year. Police say Webb has a history of sexual battery and sexual assault.

A level three sex offender is one that is most likely to be a repeat offender. Sex offenders are required by the Community Notification Act to register with local law enforcement when they move.
