A St. Cloud man is being held in the Stearns County jail after sheriff’s officials say he was caught driving drunk for the fourth time in ten years. It happened Monday at around 7:00 pm on 2nd Street North near 12th Avenue.

The Sheriff’s Department says Adam Vanbuskirk was driving without his headlights on. When officers tried to pull him over, they say he continued to drive for six more blocks before stopping. Police say they believe he was under the influence of alcohol. Vanbuskirk refused sobriety testing and was arrested for first degree DWI due to his three prior convictions. His license was cancelled, and he faces charges of DWI, refusing tests, and driving after cancellation.
