St. Cloud Police have arrested a man after he was found passed out and locked inside a room.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says officers were called to the 800 block of 7th Avenue South early Sunday morning after the St. Cloud Fire Department was responding to a fire complaint.

Police found 21-year-old Erik Thomas Smieja passed out in a room. Smieja was arrested for obstructing the legal process and 4th degree assault against a peace officer.

No further information on this arrest has been released.
