Man Injured After Being Hit By A Car On Highway 23

On Tuesday night, the St. Cloud Police Department were called to a vehicle and pedestrian crash at the intersection of Highway 23 and Lincoln Avenue Southeast.
According to the police report, 25-year-old Robert James Baker was walking southbound across Highway 23, when he was struck by a vehicle going eastbound on Highway 23.
According to witnesses on the scene, Baker was crossing Highway 23 on a red light and the vehicle had the green light. Baker received severe, but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the St. Cloud Emergency Room by GoldCross paramedics.
At this time there are no charges pending against the driver of the vehicle.
The St. Cloud Police Department was assisted at the scene by Minnesota State Patrol.
