A Maple Grove man was arrested last weekend for allegedly possessing methamphetamine in Elk River. The Sherburne County Sheriff says officers saw two people make a hand to hand transaction they believed to be a drug deal near the Walmart in Elk River. The Sheriff’s office says one of the men, 35-year-old Anthony Forsgren, had a warrant for his arrest. When officers arrested him, they say Forsgren had 1.87 grams of meth in his possession. He was booked into the Sherburne county jail for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance.
