Drivers in the St. Cloud area could see detours along Highway 23 this weekend that will extend into early next week. MnDOT is announcing that Highway 23 in East St. Cloud will be closed from Wilson Avenue to Lincoln Avenue beginning Friday (today) at 10 a.m.

The closure is expected to last until 6 a.m. Tuesday. Traffic will be detoured along Wilson Avenue, East St. Germain street and Lincoln Avenue. Crews will be relocating utilities underneath the road. The road work is part of the pedestrian bridge replacement project just East of Wilson Avenue that began April 30th. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
