An 18-year-old man rolled through a stop sign and hit a motorcyclist early Friday afternoon in South St. Cloud.

Cain Thomes of Rockville was driving northbound on 5th Avenue South at the same time 45-year-old Lisa Ann Johnson of St. Cloud was riding her motorcycle eastbound on 6th Street South. Thomes failed to stop at the 6th Street South stop sign which caused his car to crash into Johnson’s motorcycle.

Johnson was taken to the St. Cloud hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Thomes received a citation for a stop sign violation.
