Move Over Law

During the month of August, Stearns County and many other counties will be cracking down on the Move Over Law. The law states, if you see an emergency vehicle on the road and there are two or more lanes, move over. And if you are not able to safely move, reduce your speed. Not doing so could result in a ticket. Ignoring this law also endangers the safety of law enforcement officials. The August crackdown is part of "Safe and Sober" month.
