New Laws Concerning Dangerous Synthetic Drugs

The state of Minnesota and the federal government have taken steps to combat the sales of synthetic drugs known as K-2 and bath salts. News laws have been put in place to protect communities, including St. Cloud State University students, from these dangerous substances.
KVSC’s Justus Sanchez talked with Carol Falkowski from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Drug and Alcohol Division and Minnesota House of Representative s Member from district 17B Bob Barret. They will talk about the new Minnesota and federal laws concerning synthetic drugs known as spice, K-2, and bath salts as well as the dangers of these types of synthetic drugs.
