Archived: Organic Gardening Information Session On Tuesday

Have you ever wanted to learn more about organic gardening or community gardens? On Tuesday, April 9 you will have the opportunity to do just that.

Professor of Sociology and Chair of the Social Work Department, Tracy E. Ore will be presenting in Atwood about the SCSU community garden. While Ore has eight years of experience starting and maintaining a garden, she is not an expert, so come prepared with your questions and stories of success and failure.

Information will also be given about the SCSU community garden, the benefits or organic and heirloom gardening and why you should get involved with your own garden.

The presentation will begin at Noon and last for one hour in Glacier North of the Atwood Memorial Center
