Division Street in St. Cloud was busy with more than just construction Tuesday. At about 2:40 in the afternoon reports came in of a man shooting a pistol style pellet gun out through the window of his vehicle at passing cars and road signs. Officers located the vehicle at 25th Avenue and Division.
The only person in the car was 18-year-old Mathew Mayavski of Saint Cloud. After searching the car, police found two airsoft guns that were exact replicas of a real handgun. Mayavski was arrested for terroristic threats, and two juveniles admitted to shooting road signs. Charges are pending against the juveniles and Mayavski. No one was injured.
