Son Facing Homicide Charges in Mother's Death in St. Cloud

A 40-year-old Rosemount man is in custody after the death of a 68-year-old St. Cloud woman.
The St. Cloud Police were called to the 2700 block of Atwood Drive just after midnight on Thursday for reports of two people arguing.When police arrived they found that the victim Geraldine Delores Bennet of St. Cloud had a life threatening injury apparently from an edged weapon. Bennet was transported to St. Cloud Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
St. Cloud Police arrested Bennet’s son, Chad Matthew Pulju, for 2nd Degree Homicide. He is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail.
St. Cloud Police and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are still investigating this incident.
