Police Looking For Suspects In Attempted Robbery At SCSU Campus Parking Lot

On Saturday night, St. Cloud Police were called to the area near the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and 14th Street South for a robbery.
Officers met with the 21-year-old man from St. Cloud who said that he was approached near Q lot by two younger black men and was threatened with a small knife.
According to the police report, the victim described one of attackers as a black man in his early twenties, a little over 6 feet tall with a medium build and was wearing a white baseball hat with blue lining.
The victim received a minor cut to his left ear and cheek, however he was able to run away and contact St. Cloud State’s Public Safety. The suspects did not steal anything from the victim. The victim was checked out by Gold Cross personal; however he did not receive any further medical treatment and was taken home.
Officers checked the area for suspects but did not find anyone. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 251-1200.
