Police Respond To Domestic Assault Call

Early this [Friday] morning St. Cloud Police were called to the 1200 block of St. Germain Street East for a domestic assault complaint.
According to the police report, when officers arrived they found that the victim, a 19-year-old of St. Cloud, was assaulted by their significant other. The victim received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.
The suspect, 27-year-old Gael Aburu Olerly of St. Cloud was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail where he is being held for court for domestic assault and felony strangulation.
