Police Traffic Enforcement Aims to Make Schools Safer

A total of 29 vehicles were pulled over yesterday (Tuesday) as Saint Cloud Police conducted a Special Traffic Enforcement Detail focusing on areas around local schools. The Enforcement Detail occurred from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Police gave out several citations for various offenses including no seatbelt, driving after suspension, driving after cancellation and speeding. The driver cited for driving after cancellation was arrested. Numerous warning tickets were also issued. Residents are reminded that school is now in session and to drive carefully.
