SCSU Announces New Chief Information Officer

St. Cloud State University is welcoming a new addition to its Administration. The first ever Chief Information Officer has been named. After a national search was conducted Henry May will start the new Chief Information Officer position on January 7th.
May has 24 years of executive management experience in the field of information technology and he will oversee SCSU’s information technology, technology support and multimedia and web services.
May previously has served as Chief Information Officer for the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development since 2008. May earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He also earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management and Organization from the University Of Minnesota Carlson School Of Management.
The Chief Information Officer is a new position the university administration supported under its recent campus-wide re-organization.
