SCSU Black History Month Celebrations Continue
02/14/2013 - 11:00 AM
As part of the continuing celebrating of Black History Month, the Multicultural Student Services invite you to a presentation with Dr. Tamrat Tademe on Tuesday, February 19th.
Tademe will discuss this past election, the inauguration and Dr. King’s Bible. President Barack Obama was just re-elected for a second term and during his inauguration, he took the oath of office on two Bibles: President Abraham Lincoln’s and Dr. Martin Luther King Junior’s. The use of Dr. King’s Bible caused a controversy and questions.
The event will begin at 2 p.m. in the Atwood Theatre and is free and open to all. Classes are invited to attend.
