As the St. Cloud State University school year winds down, students are getting rid of old and unwanted household items, clothes and ramen.

In an effort to recycle these items, St. Cloud State accepts donations so they don’t end up in the trash.

The Department of Campus Involvement says donation boxes will be located around campus at all residential halls, the Ervin House, inside the Atwood Memorial Center, and at Coborn Plaza Apartments.

Students can leave a variety of items such as toiletries, nonperishable food and dishes in the boxes.

The program is called Donate, Don’t Ditch and runs from Monday, April 24 to Friday, May 5.
