SCSU Is Now A Tobacco Free Campus

St. Cloud State is now the sixth four-year school in the MnSCU system to become tobacco free. Tobacco free means the use, sale, free distribution or advertising of smoking and smokeless tobacco products is prohibited on university property, including buildings, walkways, arenas, playing areas and in university owned vehicles and motorized equipment.

SCSU joins 28 other colleges and universities in Minnesota with this policy. SCSU President Earl H. Potter III says that the choice was made to put first the wishes and rights of the majority as well as the health and well-being of our campus community.

President Potter also says that we will continue to offer education, awareness, support and cessation services to students and employees.
