Archived: SCSU To Hold Discussion On Venture Capital Deals Tuesday

Discussions on the impacts of venture capital deals in the state will be reviewed by an expert panel at St. Cloud State University this Tuesday.

Hosted by St. Cloud State’s School of Public Affairs and the Herberger Business School, the discussion will be held at the Cascade Room in the Atwood Memorial Center.

Among the experts attending the discussion, will be Kathy Tunheim, principal and CEO of Tunheim strategic communications firm, and senior economic and job growth advisor to Governor Mark Dayton.

Notables joining Tunheim will be King Banaian, professor of economics at St. Cloud State University, Rick Bauerly, managing partner of Granite Equity Partners, Nicholas Conant, financial advisor of Wells Fargo, Sahand Elmtalab, financial advisor of Minneapolis Financial Group, and John Stavig, director for the Gary S. Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship and Carlson School of Management. 

The free event will be open to public and start at 9 a.m. and end at noon.
