Archived: SCSU To Partner With Netgain To Train Employees

St. Cloud State University will be partnering with local healthcare information technology provider Netgain in the training of new employees.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development has provided the university with a $147,000 grant to help the company explore training opportunities for their employees under the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership. With the grant, the company will support entry-level and advanced training for approximately 80 employees.

Netgain has reached out to SCSU’s Corporate Education and Outreach, CEO, division last fall. Over the next two years CEO will work with Netgain employees to increase their knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry including business communication skills and technical knowledge.

This program will also help build a collaborative partnership between the university and the greater St. Cloud community.
