It’s that time of year once again in Central Minnesota, old man winter is upon us.
St. Cloud State University’s Meteorology Professor, Bob Weisman says St. Cloud will experience intensifying snow now through midday.
On top of the snow there is a batch of freezing rain south of St. Cloud. The freezing rain in Ortonville and Benson could possibly creep up north to St. Cloud and Paynesville.
Mn-DOT is reporting generally fair driving conditions for treated roads like I-94 and Highway-10 with scattered icy sports.
Weisman says heavier snow is expected tomorrow through Wednesday morning. Snow accumulations could reach 3-6 inches in St. Cloud, with more snow expected north.
